Russ Bey located on Lake Darling dock

A beautiful Sunday afternoon on Lake Darling yielded a nice surprise on the Bey dock. The professor (Russ Bey - rear) was sunning hisself, along with his lovely wife, Jean Alberg Bey (Class of '66) and friend Margi Movold. Enterprising cub reporter Tom Obert made the find and even managed to edge into this photograph, taken by his wife, Ruth. Repeated attempts to get the professor to favor the blog with a bio have failed, so this was quite the coup. A bonus was Margi Movold, who came to Jefferson High to teach in 1966 and just missed the opportunity of a life-time -- teaching members of our class. Margi is Robin Movold Niedenfeur's aunt, married to Mark Movold. Robin is another member of the class of '65 who is missing from this blog and is probably out sunning herself as we write this.
