Remember The Embers? Hank Faber made 'em big

Hello, Class of '65,
Thanks for the call about The Roundup, John Herdan. Here is some information about what I have been doing.
After high school, I attended Alexandria Technical College for two years. Joined the National Guard in 1967. I farmed in the Nelson area for many years, and played in our dance band, the Embers. We did mostly local gigs, but got out as far as Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and South and North Dakota. It was in North Dakota, near the Canadian border, where I met my wife, Tana.
We have been married for 30 years. Tana works in the medical field, specializing in breast care. We have three daughters and three grandchildren. Our girls are married and live in the Fishers, Indiana, area.
In 1983, I went back to Alex Tech, receiving a degree in Sales and Marketing. I worked in sales several years, mostly part time. We moved to the Indianapolis area in 1986. I am currently driving an 18-wheeler over the US. and Canada. It has been an interesting vocation, meeting people from many countries and cultures.
Take care,
Hank (Henry) Faber

Was reflecting on my time with the Embers from 1968-1970. And the 41 years that have passed. Glad to read you info and being apart of the Embers will always be a very happy time in my life. Ed Jensen class of 1963 Hancock Minn. Drummer. Retired in Boulder City Nevada.
