Texas holds 'em; Diane McCarthy sends regrets

Dear Stan,
This is Diane McCarthy Hendricks reporting. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Bill, for 33 years. We had two children - the oldest is Jeff who recently was married in Corpus Christi, Texas, on June 18, 2005. Unfortuately, they do not live in Texas right now, but both sides of the family are trying to get them to move back. They currently live in Tampa, Fla.
Our daughter, Lisa, had a heart transplant in 1994, and she passed away in September of 2004. In those ten years, she did and saw more things than her parents have ever seen. She graduated from high school, college, and went to Europe twice. She is truly an "angel in our hearts".
My husband and I will not be able to attend the reunion, as I work for the school district in Carrollton, Tex. We have to report to school on August 5th (the kids do not start until August 15th, however.) We will surely be thinking about all of you - starting next year (2006), school is not to start until after Labor Day.
I attended the Reunion in 1990 - can't believe that was 15 years ago! Hopefully, the next time the reunion takes place, Bill and I will be able to attend. Have a great time!
Sincerely,
Diane McCarthy Hendricks
