What a pleasant suprise to see my name mentioned in the blog -- and to hear my guitar again!! And Stan, what a great job you did with all the pictures. Thank you so much.
The soundtrack is a combination of Bulldog (The Fireballs, 1960) and Wipeout (The Surfaris, 1963). It was recorded in about 1999 at an outdoor gig with The Eagle Creek Band. The Eagle Creek Band morphed into the RaucousBand in 2001, specializing in dance music for casinos -- so no more instrumental oldies!!
I retired from the RaucousBand in 2004. I decided that lugging out heavy equipment in the rain at 2:00 a.m. was a job for younger people. But I still enjoy music and -- again -- thoroughly enjoyed this entry on the JHS blog!
