Mike Weinberg's brother dies

Thomas Charles Weinberg, age 60, of Robbinsdale, formerly of Alexandria, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 1, 2009 after a 4-1/2 year, intense battle with pancreatic cancer.
Survived by loving wife of 31 years, Susan; son Matthew; father, Earl; mother, Iona (Bob Mc Grail); brothers, Mike, Bill, Bob (Cory) and Steve; sister, Patricia; and extended family including an uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends and work colleagues.
Tom graduated from Alexandria High School and Alexandria Vo-Tech (aviation electronics). He was employed by Carlson Companies and Gage Marketing (Director of Network Services) for 30+ years. Tom lived life to the fullest until the end.
He enjoyed many years of sailing on Prior Lake and White Bear Lake, building computers, rides along the parkway system in his convertible, and flying R/C planes in recent years. Memorial gathering in celebration of Tom's life to be scheduled at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota for pancreatic cancer research, or the donor's choice.
