Here's Tom's nightstand! Where's yours?

Tom Obert writes:
Still performing yeoman service lo these many years. The St. Bernards were actually purchased at St. Bernard Pass between Switzerland and Italy.

(Hey Tom... couldn't help but notice that there is no plywood back on your class project. What did you get for a grade?

Tom replies:

Mine was built during the infamous week-long plywood shortage that wreaked havoc in Alexandria, Osakis, Villard, and portions of Forada and Millerville - it was either that or if you had a knot on your lower front facing, a plywood back was not required. In the interest of full disclosure, the nightstand almost joined the refuse of a garage sale (or worse) within the last couple of years, but Ruthie (bless her pea-pickin' heart) refused to part with it. Something about wanting to keep the one handyman project I ever did in my life.
