Four years ago I sold my dental practice in Maple Plain and we moved from our home in Delano to our lake home in Longville, Minnesota. Bruce had already retired as a Middle School principal in Mound.
Longville is a small town, one hour north of Brainerd, surrounded by numerous lakes. Many are retired and live at their lake home full time, though the town seems to empty over the winter with Arizona and Florida the destinations.
We fish less now that we live on the lake full time but still favor casting for muskies. We golf in leagues for a mix of fun and frustration and fit in some tennis as well.
Both of our children, Joe and Laura, are married and live in the Twin Cities area. We have three grandchildren and two on the way! We see them as often as we can and they enjoy coming up to Lake Wabedo to be with us.
