Here's Kathy Sherry Skadsberg and Johnny Seim. John Seim may have had the first stereophonic system in our class. He had two speakers hanging in his bedroom looped to a turntable. He had this long play recording of trumpeter Al Hirt, and wonder of wonders, you could hear Al playing Tijuana Taxi or something on one side of the bedroom, and then, damn, he was suddenly playing in the other corner. John invited me up to his bedroom to hear it. I'll never forget it. Amazing. Don't know if Kathy Sherry ever got invited. -- Trailboss
