Sarah Serie is MVP on State Champ team

Wanted to keep you informed about the Sports scene here in Minneapolis.:
My daughter Sarah's 12U softball team just won the 22 team USSSA State Tournament last weekend in Champlin.
They won five games over the weekend and stayed undefeated while winning the title. They played exceptional defense and had some great clutch hitting.
Sarah was fortunate to win the MVP trophy as she hit .750 and hit 6 home runs during the tourney.
Needless to say all the girls as well as the parents were extremely excited and happy for them. As an assistant coach I know how hard they worked for this in practice, so my hat is off to all of them.
The experience, excitement and friendships she shared and developed with her teammates will be long lasting.
That’s the beauty of Sports!
Proud Papa,
