Vice President Tom Greenwood detected on site

Tom Greenwood had hoped to sneak in and out of the blog without detection, but jumped a fence recently and was lassoed by Roundup sleuths. He now lives in Coon Rapids, we learned, and, as far as we can tell, has absolutely nothing to hide. Just another shy Alex High grad, his dossier says. Anyway, we did get a report from this very interesting fellow classmember. Here it is: -- Trailboss

Tom writes: I moved to Alexandria the summer before my junior year, so I didn't get to know many of my fellow classmates. However, I can recall several of the people who have responded here, and have enjoyed reading about their lives and accomplishments.
My life so far.
After high school, I completed an accounting course at Alexandria Vocational school. I then joined the Merchant Marine and spent one season on the Great Lakes and Atlantic coast. The pay was low but the food was good. I was able to confirm that my mother had been a bad cook all those years.
I started my current job at a wholesale distribution company in 1969. I have held many positions here over the last 36 years. I started as a union warehouse employee, then worked in customer service, sales, purchasing, and am currently a Director and Senior Vice President. I will probably work several more years as my retirement has been totally Bushwhacked over the past five years.
In 1969, I married my wife, Lynn. We adopted our daughter, Jinah Marie, from Korea in 1976. She has an MBA and is an executive with a non-profit corporation. Her husband, Jeff, is also an MBA and a VP at US Bank. We have a granddaughter, Riley Paige, who is 18-months old and seems to like us so far. We'll keep buying her things to keep the magic working.
VP of horse association
We built a horse farm in Dayton, Minn. in 1987. We ran a small horse boarding business there for about nine years. I was a co-founder and Vice President of the Dayton Horse Association. I was also appointed to the Dayton Planning Commission and later elected to the Dayton City Council. We moved back to Coon Rapids in 1996. I have been on the Coon Rapids Planning Commission for several years and currently serve as Vice Chairman. You can catch my act most Thursday nights on Comcast channel 16.
We moved to a detached townhouse about a year ago. I don't miss the yard work at all. My wife says it's way too big, but I tell her we can fill the lower level with cement when we get too old to navigate the stairs.
You may notice that I am always Vice President or Vice Chairman and never President or Chairman. This is probably best for all concerned.
Tom Greenwood
