From Carolyn Hoffland

Hi.
Today our thoughts our with Taylor Strand (age 13), a friend, classmate of our grandson, Joshua, from Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.
On April 5th, she was severely burned from pouring gas on a pit fire. She was immediately rushed to the Hennepin Burn center in Minneapolis with burns over 70% of her body.
She has had several surgeries, and remains in critical condition. Her Mom and Dad are divorced, she has two sisters.
Her Mom has lost her job, her home, and now lives permanently in the Ronald McDonald house in Minneapolis. Her father works enough hours to at least keep their medical insurance. Her two sisters have moved to Monticello to live with their dad and family. They anticipate Taylor could be in the hospital for one year.
Today friends and teachers have set up a 12 hour telethon/fundraiser to help the family with their medical bills. I would just like for you to take the time to at least read her sites. This family needs our help and prayers. Thank you for taking the time to read my message.
We know what support is all about and we want to pass on the need and request.
