Telethon raises $20,000, Herdan reports

Stan,

Just an update on Carolyn's request that people support the Taylor Strand telethon. Lot's of people did and they raised over $20,000 in 12 hours. My brother Mark is the mayor of Sauk Rapids and has two daughters that are friends of Taylor's. He and the co-hosts of the telethon volunteered to have their heads shaved if they met their goal which they did with one minute to go so I now have a bald brother. We have gotten to know Taylor's mom Julie. She and her sister Jaime are the most incredible support system anybody could ever hope for. Thanks to Carolyn for getting the story out.
