TGIF: Bug-a-Boo Bay

Motoring all the way from Omaha in his vintage Pierce Arrow especially for the occasion, 2010 Reunion Chairman Bobby Watson is optimistic that a big turnout will grace tomorrow's Boomer Bang at Bug-a-Boo Bay in Alexandria. Watson spoke to the Alexandria JHS Boomers blog from his executive offices on the second floor of the Woodtick Lodge on West Lake Darling.

"I've heard from a lot of folks that they plan on attending," he said.

"It's busy. Betty Larson is done moving in her stuff next door, so I know she'll be there for sure," he laughed. "The place is looking gorgeous. Betty too, for that matter."

Bobby promised to buy anybody a Bug-a-Boo beverage who can recall the subject Ava Luchsinger taught in Junior High. He expects boomers to begin gathering at 3 p.m. and continue on throughout the afternoon. He hopes someone remembers a camera so that a photo of attendees can be made and emailed to the Boomer Blog: Rolfsrud@gmail.com
"My camera is broke, otherwise I would do it, you know, but then I couldn't be in the picture, and, I AM the chairman, you know."

Next week Watson will be fishing walleyes in Devil's Lake, North Dakota, and thinking great thoughts about future good times.
