Connie E. Peterson, '66, dies

Connie E. Peterson, 61, passed away August 10, 2009 in Minneapolis of complications of MS.
Born in Austin, MN on June 12, 1948, she moved to Alexandria in 1950. She graduated from Jefferson High School, 1966; and Moorhead State University, 1970. She worked as an English teacher, supervisor, at St. Joseph's Home for Children.
She was a graphics supervisor in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyall E. and Mary E. Peterson of Alexandria. She is survived by sisters, Kathy (John) Kovar and Mary Jo Peterson (Gary Franklin); and brother, Brian (Laura) Peterson; nephew, John K. Kovar and niece, Christina C. Peterson.
Private services at Kinkead Cemetery, Alexandria are planned for a later date. She will be truly missed by those who loved her.
Memorials are preferred to the National MS Society of Minnesota.
