Note to the Chairman

Hi Bob,
Here's the proposed email that I want to send out to all the good folks who have given us an email address to use for reunion stuff. Hope you like it.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Good morning!

Thirty of your classmates have registered so far for the Class Reunion August 21 at the Broadway Ballroom. (Don't let the term "Ballroom" throw you off. This is just a casual get-together of old friends talking old times in one of the back rooms in the Fat Daddy's complex near where the old Algon ballroom used to be. No program, no photo booth, no loud music, no bald man contest. Nothing worth going on a diet for. Just the yakkety-yak and laughter of old friends, like last time when we gathered in Nelson and nobody wanted to go home.)
If you haven't already done so, now is the time to get registered. Karen Schjei Benson is ready to take your check at:

Karen Benson
Class Treasurer
916 Ridge Street,
Stoughton, WI 53589

Send $20 for each person attending. If you've been following our progress at
you've noticed that some folks are bringing spouses, others are not. Also, please know that everyone is welcome. Doesn't matter what class they're in, we'd love to have as many people joining in as possible.

Also, you're invited to Bob and Betty's BYOB Pontoon Palooza on Friday afternoon/evening August 20 on Little Darling. (Go past the Bug-a-boo to the Indian Mounds corner and then go straight over the Darling/Carlos bridge to Casa Marina Road. Turn left, go to 3421. Three yellow cabins. Arrive anytime in the afternoon. Lasts until 8 p.m.??? Weather permitting Tom Obert hopes to add his pontoon to the Armada for some fun on the waves. Come along.

The Bug-a-boo is open again for Friday night schmoozing. Always a good place to go to catch up with the gang.

Also, most of our classmates don't have the internet. So please continue your efforts to get them informed by word of mouth. The local media has helped by running a couple of items, but that won't get everyone up to speed. So please call somebody and tell them how they can join us.

Later,
Bob Watson, chairman
Stan Rolfsrud, secretary

Let me know what you think, Bob. We've only got 30 signed up so far. Hope we can get a lot more. Be nice to get some non-class members to come as well. Whatever happens, of course, we'll have some fun.

Stan
