Sandi Pennar Bonesteel back in Arizona now

Ron Bolstad and LaVonne Feda. Gary Bonesteel spotted LaVonne first thing Saturday. Changed his mind on the spot about having fun at the reunion. His wife, Sandi Pennar Bonesteel, writes:
Hi Stan,
Well, I am back home in Arizona, and wanted to let you know that WE had the best time at the reunion! I knew I would, but it's sometimes tough for the spouses. At first, Gary was not too keen on going, as he wouldn't know that many people, but both he and his friend had a great time on Friday night. His friend left Saturday after their golf game, but at the reunion, Gary was far from bored, and had a better time than he had anticipated. The minute we walked in the door, he spotted LaVonne Feda, who had gone to nursing school with me, and of course he knew my closest bunch of friends, and also some he had met Friday.
I was glad to hear we are talking about another reunion in five years, and that the blog will continue, as I'm sure many people will want to drop in and keep in touch. You have done a fantastic job at moderating the blog and organizing things for the reunion, Stan! It wouldn't have happened without you! On the way back, Gary said to be sure and let you know that we appreciated all your efforts and want to buy dinner for you and your family when you come to Tucson this winter.
I'd also like to thank all the others who contributed to the success of the evening to make it run so smoothly, so the rest of us could just visit. A lot of work went into the planning, and we appreciate the hard work that went into it, and those of you who gave extra time to make the evening as special as it was.
I was sorry to see it end---it went by too fast, and in all the noise and excitement of the evening, I'm sure there are many people I didn't get to talk to, so I'm anxious to see the continuing chat and pictures of the reunion . (I missed the "Steinmetz twins" all along I thought that was Paul Nokes and Mark Benson! Guess I'd better schedule an eye exam!).
I'll continue to follow the blog, and will look forward to the next reunion in five years. I hope everyone keeps in touch, as the blog is a great way to keep everyone updated. As already mentioned, it was great to have some prior info on our classmates, as it really helped as far as initiating conversations.
In closing, I'd like to say that we'd welcome a visit from anyone passing through our area (Green Valley Arizona, south of Tucson). We also spend time in the Phoenix area visiting the grandkids so could arrange for dinner there as well. Claudia Johnson Brown lives in Chandler, and Lynn Spellman Lommen is there for the winter as well (in Gilbert) so we could have another reunion! I imagine there will be some kind of system to contact people through the blog?
