Bobby Vee thrilled by news of '65 blog hit

Stan, -- I did see one class of '65 member at the big St. Joe celebration, Marilyn Olson. We talked for quite a while. I also ran into one of the old guys, Larry Maddox. He's been retired from the St. Cloud school district for four years now. Larry asked about my son Stephen. I didn't even know he knew him but I guess they went on a TEC weekend 8-9 years ago. Stephen did show up a short while later and I connected the two of them and they had a pretty intense conversation. It's neat to see my kids becoming friends with my friends from Alex.

My son David's band did a great job at the concert and in the parade. I am enclosing a few pictures. One is of the band, one is my son, and the other is a picture of Bobby Vee when he found out he'd be on the web site.

We will be at the cabin in Alex from July 5th to 15th if anyone wants to stop by. The address is 2700 Latoka Drive. My cell number is 320-761-7958 if you want better directions. If Deleski tries to find it from the lake, just look for the 11' tall red, white, and blue light house.
