Hey Peaceniks! Does this float your boat?

You'll be thrilled to learn that the left-leaning cub reporter piloted the winning pontoon in the 28th Annual Lake Carlos Independence Day boat parade today. It is amazing the credit you can get for hanging a few paper doves on your boat. (Pardon me. Or at least commute that last sentence. The trailboss gets a little cranky just before the 5 p.m. cocktail hour.)
Ruthie was holding up her sign (with grandson Tom and neighbor Dan Nelson) when the peace lovers floated by the judges stand - two young men on a wave rider rode up to them and presented the 1st place prize to them."The sign" received great reviews all along the Carlos shoreline - as well as from Paul and Merry Donley's place, and from Linda and Tom Akenson's classic wooden boat, below.
